This painting has turned out to be one of the more popular one's at the exhibition this week, rather surprisingly for me. When I painted this work, I was happy enough to put it on display. However, I prefer the painting in an earlier post called nebula - there is more complexity to it and a challenging undercurrent. This one, to me, lacks something. But I guess that is down to personal taste. The moral of this story is to show work that may not please you as much as others because beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
