This is on of the smaller paintings on show at Kelham Island. It measures 8" x 10" and is painted in acrylics on canvas. It is one of a series of "organic abstracts" where consecutive layers of fluid paints are manipulated with various tools. I like to think of them as landscapes possible on different planets. The three colours used are my favourite combination purple, turquoise and green, and always make me feel happy.
