Rising quietly from the water, the stone tower of Lake Vyrnwy stands surrounded by forested hills and shifting light. In the stillness of the lake, its reflection stretches across the surface, broken only by the gentle presence of a lone boat drifting nearby.
 
This piece captures the peaceful atmosphere of this remarkable landscape on the Shropshire–Powys border. The calm water, soft evening light and layered greens of the surrounding woodland create a moment of quiet balance between architecture and nature.
