A little bit about me.
It's great to be back with the Ultimate Blog Challenge team and to see some familiar faces- a real tonic in these strange and uncertain times.
Since I last took part my life has changed in so many ways, some of which I may talk about over the next month. No spoilers!
I last focused this blog on my creative output - photography and painting. This has very much taken a back seat over the last 18 months. Life just happened and I did very little of either. Again, spoilers.
Right now my focus is on providing food for the family in the only way possible in the current situation - by growing it myself. There will be a lot of posts about my new allotment, started in March this year and the crops I'm growing in the polytunnel at the end of the garden.
Photography is now limited to those two places while we are sheltering - hopefully there will be chance to get out and about more from the beginning of August, providing we don't have an increase in cases of COVID-19 here.
I mentioned yesterday our new arrival to the family - there are 2 further grandsons on the way in August and September and they will all sneak in here one way or another along with my two granddaughters. I may even get to see and hug them. Face-time has been such a boon for the past few weeks to keep in touch but I so miss those cuddles.
Looking forward to the journey and hope you can join me.
