The birds in my garden have been very busy feeding chicks in their nests. I've been waiting (very impatiently :-)) for them to appear at the feeding station in my garden alongside their parents.

The Blue tit and Great Tit chicks have finally arrived.

I managed to capture a couple of lovely shots.

Firstly this Blue tit looks fluffy against the bright spring coloured background.

Secondly, a Great Tit chick put in an appearance.

Both are soft-coloured versions of their parents and will develop their full plumage later in the year.
