It's a Winner.

Over the last few years I have entered about half a dozen open art competitions. I have had work shown in two but this year I hit the jackpot and won a category. I can now add award winning artist to my CV thanks to the Society for All Artists who voted my painting Oriental Abstraction best Amateur Abstract or Experimental.

It has already opened some doors for me - I have a month long exhibition in September and has given me the confidence to try earning a living from the creativity I love.

This is the entry that won for me.

I would heartily recommend the Society for All Artists for their great support for artists not least of which is the Artist of the Year Competition. Why not take a look and enter something yourself next year?
